Senior IT Engineer / Consultant

Salary: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year DOE

As we expand our IT capabilities and offerings further to our customer base we are seeking a senior IT Engineer\Consultant to join our team. The role will be providing a degree of technical support to customers in an efficient and accurate manner by diagnosing and solving faults and issues. Additionally we are looking for a candidate to provide pre and post sales consultancy to customers predominantly focusing on cloud technologies such as Office 365, Microsoft 365 and Azure, we foresee this being the greater part of the role. This is dynamic role with the ability to expand into other areas for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Provide account management to project teams and clients

Manage all technical of the company’s relationship with the client

Perform pre-sales technical consultancy and analysis of client requirements to ensure correct solution implemented

Develop the client relationship and advise of them of opportunities for additional services and product solutions

Production of business case proposals and functional requirement specifications

Co-ordinate the installation and integration of new client services

Document installations and configuration of systems implemented to allow for smooth transition to support

Handover of delivered projects to the internal support team if required

Contribute to the continuing development of the IT day-to-day operations

Provide high level technical support to clients where necessary

Provide training and guidance to the existing team on cloud technologies

Point of escalation where required for service desk incidents.
